Where to find your model number
Your model number is usually found on the motor head label, on the main opener unit mounted to the ceiling, garage door rail or roller door, or inside the motor cover.

Compatible with the following 433MHz motor models, provided the system was installed after July 2013:

Both your original remote and motor model must match the compatibility information above.
Not compatible with 303MHz remotes or systems.
Not compatible with similar-looking remotes without the clear plastic surround around the buttons.
Not suitable for navy-coloured motors.
Not suitable for systems installed in July 2013 or earlier.

Important Compatibility Information
Boss and Guardian systems use several similar looking remotes that are not interchangeable. Appearance alone does not confirm compatibility.
This replacement is only suitable when your original remote matches the product images, has a clear plastic surround around the buttons, and your motor model is listed above.
Your system must operate on 433MHz and have been installed after July 2013.
For BOL4 and BOL6 models, the motor must be grey.
If your motor is navy, you will need a different Boss / Guardian / Steel-Line compatible remote. Contact us before ordering so we can help identify the correct replacement.

Will this work with a 303MHz Boss remote?
No. This replacement is only suitable for the listed 433MHz systems.
My remote looks similar but doesn’t have clear plastic around the buttons. Will this work?
No. Similar-looking versions without the clear plastic button surround are not suitable for this replacement.
Will this work if my motor is navy?
No. You will need a different compatible remote. Send us a photo of your motor label and old remote so we can help you choose.
What if I order the wrong remote?
No stress, contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we can swap it to the correct remote before it leaves.
